Eighth Havana Biennial 2003
Havana Biennial, Cuba
Installation and distribution of giveaway souvenir items (tote bags, beach balls, postcards) emblazoned with a twist on the familiar New York slogan. Creating a platform for commerce and free enterprise within a communist state, the souvenir items were distributed to the local Cuban community who in turn sold them to tourists attending the biennial.
